New Year Dissolutions??

This year is about to end and it’s the time of the year where many people make a review of the year and a planification of the next year.

If you usually define some New Year Resolutions, does it make sense for you to define as well some New Year Dissolutions?

What are the highlights of your year?

What went well that is worth remembering, celebrating and eventually continue doing the next year?

Did you have any bad moments this year?

Did you have any bad moments that you had any control about?

What of those moments would you like to dissolve (to not exist, if possible) in the next year?

Are you able to see these bad moments as not only bad moments?

What was not so good that is also worth remembering, not to punish yourself, and expand negative thoughts and emotions, but to reflect on the lessons that you can learn from that?

What can you do the next year to expand the lessons, opportunities, and solutions that those not so good moments can bring you?

For me what was not as good as I wanted this year was my running performance. I have planned to run in several official 10 Km runs this year was not able to run any. My physical fitness is really not what I would like to have and want.

Instead of expanding the emotions and thoughts of not achieving results this year, what I will be doing the next year is to follow a physical training and running program, with a coach and with more people wanting to run longer distances next year.

I learned the lesson — continuing to do it alone doesn’t work.

If like me you have something that you want to focus on for the next year that can benefit from the support of a coach, I am glad to offer you a strategic reflection session to help you review the year that is ending and help you define what are your New Year Resolutions and your New Year Dissolutions.

What are your New year Resolutions and what would you like to Dissolve in the New Year?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Wish you a fabulous New Year!

Cheers!
